About The Role:

We are seeking an experienced and strategic security leader to oversee the delivery of security services across 
Morrisons Manufacturing and Logistics operations nationally.
 
Reporting directly to the Retail Account Director, the Head of Manufacturing & Logistics Security will provide 
leadership and governance across all distribution centres, manufacturing facilities and associated logistics 
operations.
 
The successful candidate will be responsible for operational performance, customer relationships, contract 
governance, technology deployment, loss prevention, investigations, compliance and continuous improvement 
initiatives. They will lead a team of Regional Operations Managers and specialist support functions to ensure a 
safe, secure and resilient operating environment.
 
Essential Requirements
• Proven experience managing large-scale multi-site security contracts
• Experience within logistics, manufacturing, warehousing or supply chain environments
• Strong understanding of investigations, risk management and loss prevention
• Strong commercial and financial acumen
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Experience implementing security technology solutions
• Advanced knowledge of Excel and Google sheets
• Good understanding of business analysis
• Full, clean UK Driving License
• Valid SIA DS and/or CCTV License

• Asis CPP qualification
• IOSH Managing Safely
• Security Institute membership
 
Key Responsibilities
 
Strategic Leadership
• Lead the delivery of security services across the Morrisons Manufacturing and Logistics estate.
• Develop and implement strategic security plans aligned to Morrisons and OCS objectives.
• Ensure consistent operational standards and governance across all locations.
• Act as the senior escalation point for all major incidents, investigations and operational matters.
• Provide strategic direction to dedicated M&L management team and frontline staff
 
Operational Excellence
• Ensure all contractual obligations, KPIs and service level agreements are achieved.
• Monitor operational performance through audits, reviews and management reporting.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the estate.
• Support mobilisation, implementation and integration of new security services and technologies.
• Ensure operational resilience and business continuity arrangements remain effective.
Security, Risk & Compliance
• Lead the national security risk management program.
• Oversee security investigations relating to organized crime, internal theft, fraud and supply chain 
losses.
• Ensure compliance with legislation, SIA requirements, customer standards and company policies.
• Oversee crisis management responses and business continuity planning.
• Ensure robust food defense and supply chain protection measures are maintained.
 
Technology & Innovation
• Lead the deployment and optimization of security technologies including
• Drive innovation and technology-led efficiencies across the account
• Support future security transformation initiatives
 
Client Relationship Management
• Develop and maintain senior stakeholder relationships across Morrisons
• Lead monthly business review meetings
• Present performance updates, risk assessments and strategic recommendations
• Ensure a customer-focused approach throughout the contract
 
Financial Management
• Manage operational budgets and financial performance
• Monitor labor deployment, overtime and contract efficiencies
• Support forecasting, budgeting and resource planning
• Identify opportunities for service enhancements and value creation
 
Security Intelligence & Analytics
• Analyse security incidents, losses and crime trends for M&L
• Identify emerging threats and operational risks and build mitigation strategies for review
• Produce intelligence reports and trend analysis for key senior stakeholders
• Optimise current policies and procedures to align with identified ORC, internal theft and supply chain 
loss trends
