About The Role:

The Account Director will be responsible for developing a property portfolio that demonstrates the capability of OCS, creating environments that we are proud to showcase.  Through the development of strong client and Subject Matter Expert (SME) relationships, with regular communication being essential for a collaborative partnership, the Account Director will deliver environments that supports our colleagues wellbeing and staff retention, whilst ensuring that we are the partner of choice for our client. 

It will be the responsibility of the Account Director to drive the performance of their Contract by overseeing the day to day Operational and Financial performance, ensuring that all agreed contract KPIs are delivered.  

 

Key elements to successfully carrying out the role will be: 

  • Delivering against contractual KPI Performance 
  • Client relationship management, and building trusted partnerships 
  • Financial accountability: 
  • P&L Management and delivering against budget targets 
  • Performance Management of all Service Lines 
  • Additional works (Quotations) 
  • Innovation & Added Value 
  • ESG Commitments 
  • People management, development and succession planning 

 

As part of your role, your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Deliver against contractual KPI performance
  • Manage client relationships and build trusted partnerships
  • Financial accountability, including:
    • P&L management and delivering against budget targets
    • Performance management of all service lines
    • Additional works (quotations)
  • Drive innovation and added value within the contract
  • Ensure statutory compliance and adherence to health & safety standards
  • Design and implement policies and processes effectively across the contract
  • Provide leadership on ESG commitments
  • People management, development, and succession planning
  • Ensure compliance documentation is verified and stored for future reference
  • Act as a role model for quality, safety, and ethical standards

     

     

    The ideal candidate should meet the following criteria:

  • Right to work in the UK.
  • Standard DBS clearance required.
  • Proven experience in client relationship management
  • Strong financial acumen, including P&L responsibility and budget management
  • Knowledge of statutory compliance and health & safety regulations
  • Ability to design and implement operational processes effectively
  • Experience in people management and succession planning
  • Strong stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to deliver innovation and added value initiatives
  • Understanding of ESG commitments and sustainability practices
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, complex environment
