As a Business Administration Apprentice, you will provide flexible, effective and efficient business administration support, whilst working towards achieving a Modern Apprenticeship qualification in Business Administration at either Level 2 (SCQF Level 5) or Level 3 (SCQF Level 6).
You must reside in the London Borough of Croydon.
Key Responsibilities:
This role is designed to support the contract team with day-to-day administrative tasks. You should expect to undertake the following duties:
Assist with reporting requirements.
⦁ Assist with purchase order raising for materials and sub-contractor orders, process purchase ledger invoices, and
raise quotations.
⦁ Ensure the timely preparation, production and collation of regular and ad-hoc management reports.
⦁ Administer Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and Engineer report sheets, and report on identified defects.
⦁ Process/administer Engineers' timesheets, expenses, and uniform/tool requirements.
⦁ Upload contractual documents, including PPM reports, service reports, sub-contractor service reports and quotations, into the Maintenance Management System (Maximo).
⦁ Ensure all information is always conveyed in a clear manner (written, verbal and numerical).
⦁ Assist in the identification and implementation of continuous improvement measures.
⦁ Assist in the allocation and scheduling of PPMs and Reactive tasks, and arrange permits to ensure completion.
⦁ Carry out ad-hoc data analysis, and associated presentation, for stakeholder.
Essential Hiring Criteria:
⦁ Minimum of National 5 or equivalent in English and a second related subject.
⦁ An understanding of the general workings of an office environment.
⦁ Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Outlook and the Microsoft Office suite.
⦁ Ability to learn and use IT software.
⦁ Excellent communication skills.
⦁ Excellent organisational skills.
⦁ Customer service experience (desirable)
Work Pattern:
⦁ 40 hours per week
⦁ Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm
