About The Role:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Accounts Payable Manager with overseeing the “Projects” accounts payable ledger
  • Continuous Improvement: Improve the process of the ledger bringing them all in line with the best practices for processing, reconciliation and reporting.
  • Payment Processing: Prepare and execute payments to supplier via electronic transfers, or other payment methods, ensuring timeliness and adherence to payment terms.
  • Account Reconciliation: Reconcile accounts payable transactions and resolve discrepancies between vendor statements and internal records.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of all accounts payable transactions, including invoices, receipts, purchase orders and payment confirmations.
  • Expenses processing: review the employee expense reports, ensure that each one includes a receipt and/or proof of payment, and line manager approval.
  • Build relationships with both internal and external stakeholders, becoming a point of contact for the resolution of AP issues.

Essential Hiring Criteria:

  • Previous experience working in a similar role.
  • Excellent organisation skills and the ability to prioritise and manage own workload and workload of the team.
  • Confident communicator, with the ability to articulate financial information and analysis to stakeholders.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work on own initiative and part of a wider team.
  • Highly competent on MS Excel
  • Previous experience with Dynamics 365.
