About The Role
At OCS Group, we are recruiting a Security Officer who will be responsible for protecting the security and safety of the identified buildings and personnel at a busy client site and ensuring that assigned tasks are completed in a professional and timely manner and meet relevant legislations.
You will be working on a 4-on-4-off night shift pattern, 19:00 to 07:00, on a permanent full-time basis; 42 hours per week.
Your main responsibilities may also include:
- Acting as a first-line support to employees and visitors to the site, providing a professional and friendly service.
- Fire, security, and building systems monitoring.
- Service area barrier control and traffic management.
- Completing Searches on site to Include Person, Vehicle, and Lockers,
- Completing multiple site patrols both internal and external
- Theft Prevention by monitoring items being removed from the site.
To succeed in this role you will need the following:
- Experience of working within the Security Industry
- SIA license is essential
- Ability to work on own initiative
- A professional demeanor and good written and verbal communication skills
