We are recruiting for a Casual Minibus Driver to be based at East Midlands Airport. You will be transporting flight crew to and from the base and aircraft.
You DO NOT NEED A PVC license for this position and hours within business needs so full flexibility is required
. If you passed your car test before January 1, 1997, you may already have this entitlement
This is a casual position
About The Role:
You will be working 12-hour shifts, on casual basis, both days and nights, so please consider this before you apply. There would be guaranteed shifts every month .
- Day shift: Start 5.00am - Finish 17.00pm
- Night shift: Start 17.00pm - Finish 05.00am ( typical shifts )
Main Duties:
- Safely transporting flight crew to and from the base and aircraft.
- Loading crew bags into the vehicle.
- Making sure the vehicles are in good working condition and kept clean.
- Completing daily vehicle checks and making records accordingly.
What you'll need
- Full UK/EU driving licence
- 5 year checkable work history, to obtain an airside pass
The ideal candidate should meet the following criteria:
- Must have Right to Work in the UK
- You will be required to pass pre-employment screening, including 5 years of employee reference checking
- Valid UK Drivers Licence held for a minimum of 3 years
- Ability to communicate with people and colleagues at all levels
- Previous experience within driving with an airport is desirable
