About The Role:

 

Days of Working: Monday to Friday

Requirement to complete 1 week from 5 as an on call escalation manager. This will operate on a rotational basis across the 5 regional facilities manager on the account.

Position Overview:

OCS is seeking a dynamic and experienced Regional Facilities Manager to oversee the maintenance and operations of retail facilities across a designated region. This role requires a proactive individual with exceptional customer interaction skills and a strong focus on customer satisfaction. The successful candidate will ensure that all facilities meet the highest standards of safety, functionality, and appearance. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Facility Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of retail facilities, including maintenance, repairs, and upgrades. 

  • Customer Interaction: Maintain high levels of customer interaction, addressing concerns promptly and ensuring customer satisfaction. 

  • Vendor Management: Coordinate with external vendors and contractors to ensure timely and quality service delivery. 

  • Budget Management: Develop and manage budgets for facility operations and maintenance. 

  • Compliance: Ensure all facilities comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations, with a strong focus on H&S. 

  • Reporting: Prepare regular reports on facility status, maintenance activities, and budget expenditures. 

  • Client Liaison: Regularly liaise with client managers to ensure alignment and satisfaction. 

  • Financial Accountability: Ensure budgets and Work In Progress (WIP) targets are met, maintaining financial accountability. 

  • ESG: Promote and implement Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) initiatives within facility operations. 

  • Travel: Travel within the region as required, with occasional overnight stays away from home.

Skills and Qualifications: 

  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years in facilities management, preferably in a retail environment. 

  • Customer Focus: Strong customer service skills with a focus on enhancing customer experience. 

  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 

  • Problem-Solving: Ability to identify and resolve issues efficiently. 

  • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and time management skills. 

  • Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with building systems, maintenance procedures, and safety regulations. 

  • Flexibility: Willingness to travel within the region and stay overnight as needed.
