Key Responsibilities:
- Preparation of consolidated statutory accounts and subsidiary statutory accounts under IFRS.
- Become a finance system expert with the Group’s consolidated reporting system, Magnitude and provide support to the wider accounting team.
- Prepare the monthly consolidated cashflow for the UK.
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities.
- Provide support in the preparation and submission of quarterly VAT returns and CIS tax.
- Assist the Head of Finance and FP&A Manager with reporting and projects.
- Support the annual internal and external audits.
- KPI reporting for future bids and tenders.
- Support the Assistant Financial Accounts with tasks such as fixed assets and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Be the first point of contact for any technical accounting requirement.
- Other ad-hoc duties as required.
About You:
- Applicants must have the right to work in the UK
- ACCA, ACA or CIMA Qualified or Part Qualified - ideally from a Practice background
- Experience with reporting under IFRS
- Excellent organisation skills and the ability to prioritise and manage own workload
- Independent thinker, keen problem solver with a ‘can do’ attitude
