About The Role:
Key responsibilities
To clean an agreed area of the site to the standards set out by the client and to do so in a safe and timely manner.
Your main aim will be to manage the smooth running of the refuse store areas and the chute areas on each floor ensuring an excellent standard of service is delivered
Health & Safety Purpose: To take a direct interest in the health and safety of yourself and others who may be affected by your work activities including the reporting of pest activities.
To participate in training relating to your role
Ensure continentality, privacy and dignity is maintained at all times in accordance with the Data Protection Act and in line with Company and Trust policy, where appropriate
Any other duties as required.
Carrying out an efficient Stores and Stock control service.
Manage waste collections to ensure that all waste bins are emptied on the correct days. If a collection has been missed; you need to report this to your line supervisor.
Comply with hygiene standards and Health and Safety regulations at all times.
Providing general assistance to a cleaning team operation
Monitor all stock, report any replenishment needs
Monitor all equipment and report any faults
Qualifications and experience required:
Excellent customer service skills
The ability to work well within a team
To be excellent team worker with a 'can do' attitude
No formal educational qualifications required, however ability to read, speak and understand English are mandatory for this role
Experience is an advantage but not essential as training will be given
