About The Role:

Hours per week: 6am start until 2pm, unless otherwise requested by the client (i.e 8am - 4pm)

SWC are currently recruiting for an IRATA Level 3 Rope Access Technician with window cleaning experience to join our London‑based team, working across commercial and residential buildings throughout London and the surrounding areas.

Working hours

  • Standard hours: 6:00am – 2:00pm
  • Hours may vary where client requirements dictate (e.g. 8:00am – 4:00pm)
  • Occasional weekend work will be required

Please do not apply if you cannot reliably be onsite in London at 6:00am, five days per week.

A company van will be provided, therefore a full UK driving licence is essential.

Your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

    • Maintaining a full working knowledge of all building areas covered by SWC / OCS services
    • Carrying out site surveys and producing risk assessments and method statements (RAMS)
    • Planning, scheduling and delivering works in a safe, timely and professional manner
    • Leading rope access teams in accordance with IRATA Level 3 responsibilities
    • Reporting defects, observations and completed works to the Line Manager for client reporting
    • Using a CRM/job management system (e.g. BigChange, WorkBuddy) for:
      • Pre‑start checks
      • Job logging
      • Auditing and compliance purposes
    • Ensuring all equipment is regularly inspected, serviceable and fit for use
    • Reporting defects or faults in equipment to supervision/management
    • Reporting all near misses, accidents or incidents promptly
    • Complying with all company, client and statutory Health & Safety requirements, including:
      • Work at Height
      • COSHH
      • Fire safety
      • Hygiene and cleanliness
    • Following client and company procedures for identifying and reporting hazards (e.g. blocked fire exits)
    • Communicating professionally with clients and providing a polite, reliable and customer‑focused service
    • Reporting customer feedback, complaints or compliments and taking remedial action where appropriate
    • Undertaking other reasonable duties as directed by management

    Key Result Indicators:

  • All cleaning and hygiene standards to meet service specification
  • Deliver a consistent level of service, within the Company's standards, to the contract specification and agreed performance levels.
  • Comply with Company and statutory regulations relating to safe systems of work, health & safety, hygiene, cleanliness, fire and COSHH.
Travel 
  • Occasional stay‑away work will be required (e.g. Bristol and other UK locations)
  • Accommodation will be provided for all approved stay‑away works

The ideal candidate should meet the following criteria:

  • You must have Right to Work in the UK.
  • You will hold an IRATA Level 3 certificate and completed First Aid training
  • You will hold a clean valid UK Driving License.
  • You will have experience in window cleaning and in working at height on commercial properties
  • You will have the ability to communicate with people of all levels including clients and internal contacts.
  • You must have the ability to work well on your own, be self-sufficient and motivated whilst also being comfortable working as part of a team and following instruction.
