Purpose of the role:
To assist and support the Assistant Operations Managers in delivering a comprehensive service to our client.
To organise and supervise the day-to-day maintenance tasks and reactive works on the East Lothian Schools Contract, ensuring compliance with contractual requirements and maintaining high standards of safety, cleanliness and customer care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the compliance with contractual requirements.
- Responsible for the completion of all reactive work in the East Lothian Schools Contract, in a timeous manner and in line with Project SLAs, and in compliance with Company Policy.
- Responsible for the Health & Safety compliance of the East Lothian Schools Contract, in line with good industry practice and Company Policy.
- Responsible for the IMS T2 procedures within the East Lothian Schools Contract, in compliance with Company Policy.
- Responsible for the completion of all M&E, fabric and sub-contractor PPM tasks in the East Lothian Schools Contract, in line with good industry practice and Company Policy.
- Responsible for the Fabric Team Staff recruitment, levels and training for the East Lothian Schools Contract in line with good industry practice and Company Policy. This should include Succession Planning.
- Responsible, along with the Janitorial Supervisor and Contract Support, for the decoration, fabric and landscaping condition standards of the East Lothian Schools Contract.
- Responsible for the provision and asset gathering of M&E Plant, including providing condition reports.
- Responsible for the delivery of Lifecycle works.
- Responsible for assisting with the pricing and delivery of minor works and change requests.
These duties and responsibilities may be changed in accordance with the needs of the company; the post holder may be required to provide support to holders of other posts according to changes in workload and patterns of working.
Skills & Knowledge:
- Previous M&E
Engineer experience with relevant experience in an FM position (desirable)
- Excellent communication skills, both written & verbal
- Excellent customer service skills
- Proactive and flexible team player
- Ability to react under pressure
- Excellent attention to detail
- Computer literate
- Previous line management experience
- IMS T2 knowledge and ability to implement (desirable)
- Proven ability to prioritise
- Full Driving Licence
Work Pattern:
- 40 hours per week
- Monday-Friday 08:00-16:30
