About The Role:

Job Overview:

To provide security-manned service at NPHL in accordance with Site Assignment Instructions and service levels. The Security Fire Officer is expected to work flexibly to support reasonable requests across departments to meet the needs of the business. This Job Description should be read in conjunction with service specifications, H&S and associated documentation. Copies of these documents are available from your Line Manager and on site.

Key Responsibilities:

Compliance with security assignment instructions and SLA’s agreed in the contract to meet the requirements of the client and company
Carry out security services patrols
Carry out routine Fire patrols/checks
To ensure that all Fire procedures are implemented and monitored at all times.
Booking /weighing vehicles on & off site
Recording of printed products leaving site
Assist in compliance of all customer policies and procedures are adhered too
To report immediately any misuse, damage or threat to the customers or OCS property & equipment
Report any breach or unsafe practices in the workplace to Line Manager in accordance with the Company Health and Safety policy and procedures and with support from the Health and Safety Manager.
To carry out control room duties as required
Provide for fire checks, patrols and isolation fire panel when required
Provide along with other security personnel mail/courier sort/collection/delivery service
Adherence to company and site H & S policies
Accurately and legibly complete all relevant documentation associated with all relevant tasks. All other reasonable requests to meet the needs of the business.

Skills Required:

Flexibility – Ability to move between areas (training permitting) to meet the needs of the business.
Excellent team working skills and ability to integrate with both OCS employees and NPHL Employees at all times.
Good numeracy and literacy skills
Punctuality, reliability with excellent time-management skills
Basic computer skills
Ability to demonstrate good communication skills
Ability to work on own initiative
Good organisational skills and ability to balance workload in areas of priority
Self-motivated with the ability to work unsupervised
Ability to work safely
Ability to share knowledge to others
Problem solving skills and confident decision making
First Aid trained and hold a Valid First Aid Certificate
