Civil Parking Enforcement Officer

Shift Pattern: Varied, 8am-5pm or 11.30am-8.30pm. (Enhanced rate on Sundays and Bank Holidays)

We are seeking a highly organised and motivated individual to join our team as a Civil Parking Enforcement Officer.

As part of your role, your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Deal with queries and resolve problems
• Ensure patrols are carried out efficiently and effectively
• Issue penalty charge notices to any vehicle parked against restriction and record verbal warnings issued to motorists
• Ensure parking equipment is working correctly and report defects promptly
• Ensure enquiries from members of the public are dealt with promptly and politely

The ideal candidate should meet the following criteria:

• Must have the right to work in the UK
• Excellent customer service skills
• Good communication skills
• Computer literate
• The ability to remain calm during conflict and tense situations, and a polite, credible and confident approach when dealing with members of the public
• A willingness to work outside in all weathers
