Ideally, the suitable candidate will have knowledge and experience of working in a facilities management background with experience in contract mobilisation. The role of the Mobilisation Manager is to ensure that new contracts are successfully onboarded according to client specifications, facilitating a smooth transition with operations. The successful applicant will work closely with Operations (Cleaning, Security, TFM), Human resources, Finance & QHSE to ensure client expectations are achieved and new contracts are mobilised as per the specification.
The key objective of this role is to ensure a smooth mobilisation of contracts, ensuring all actions are completed with the operations team for a successful Go Live – Day 1 – living and breathing the OCS Mission “making people and places the best they can be”.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
- Lead the implementation of the mobilisation plan in line with the requirements of the contract scope and agreed processes for cleaning, security & TFM
- Engage with key stakeholders and act as the conduit to ensure all mobilisation actions are completed in the agreed timeframes.
- Co-ordinate the relevant business support departments (HR, IT, QHSE, Finance) at various stages throughout the process.
- Liaise with subcontractors to ensure all actions are achieved within agreed budgets and timeframes.
- Assist with TUPE consultations.
- Chair weekly meetings with the operations team and clients to update on the contract mobilisation progression, sharing the updated mobilisation plan.
- Ensure all sites have essential company documentation from day one.
- Advise the sales and strategy director of any potential issues or risks which may affect Go Live.
Desirable Attributes
- Proven professional experience in mobilising medium and large size contracts.
- Knowledge in the use of CAFM systems.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel knowledge is essential along with the ability to interpret and
analyse data.
· Ability to produce progress reports and action plans to ensure mobilisations remain on track.
- Strong commercial awareness.
- Competent in the use of all other Microsoft packages.
- Strong, effective and competent communicator and presenter.
- Ability to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing with clients and work colleagues.
- Full clean driving license.
- Flexible and agile in approach.
- A business or technical degree is desirable but not essential.
