Commercial Gas Engineer

Shift Pattern: Monday - Thursday 07:00-16:00 and Friday 07:00-13:00

We have an exciting opportunity for a Commercial Gas Engineer to join our team working on key 3 contracts in the Bristol area. These sites are all within 6 miles of each other.

 You will be City & Guilds qualified (to relevant standard) ideally with experience working in a similar environment. As you will be working alone, you’ll need to be able to think proactively arranging materials, providing information for quotations, and managing the clients’ expectations.

Main Duties:

• Carry out servicing including gas tightness on commercial grade heating installations
• Carrying out statutory inspection of assets including Emergency Lighting, Water Temperature checks, Fire Door inspection and repairs, Plumbing repairs, Lighting checks and other minor reactive works.
• Being an ambassador for the customer; dealing professionally with complaints and queries
• Providing technical guidance to the client and contract support

To be successful in the role, you will need:

• Gas Safe Qualified
• Experience within a similar role within a commercial environment
• Must be IT literate to a good standard using Microsoft Word, Excel etc
• Must hold a full UK driving license as use of company vehicle may be required
