About The Role:

Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday

Hours Per Week: 37.5

Key Responsibilities:

Contract Management: Oversee and manage technical contracts, ensuring compliance and profitability.

Technical Leadership: Serve as the technical lead, providing guidance and support to the Facilities Management team.

Compliance: Ensure all operations adhere to OCS safe systems of work and compliance standards.

Maintenance Planning: Develop forward maintenance plans and asset life cycle replacement plans to meet client requirements.

Collaboration: Work closely with the Technical Services Director and other stakeholders to achieve operational excellence.

 

Accountabilities:

Asset Lifecycle & Compliance Management

  • Manage and lead our asset lifecycle management strategy across your portfolio
  • Manage the asset life cycle plan, supporting opportunity with site team and monitoring asset risk
  • Oversee the technical delivery, ensuring quality, timeliness and ensuring we are adhering to SLA’s
  • Support our operations teams in our compliance HSE auditing
  • Manage and support technical small / large works from initiation to completion, including planning, resource allocation and reporting

Business Development

  • Work with our clients in partnership to understand their future technical services desires and Taylor the asset lifecycle replacement plan to meet there needs
  • Support growth into whitespace by demonstrating capabilities through business cases
  • Develop opportunities for projects to be completed by the divisional project management teams or the wider OCS group
  • Grow our maintenance strategy to coincide with our ABi solution
  • Push growth with our systems expert with our ABi solution to our new and existing client base

    Client Support & Client Relationships

  • Serve as a point of escalation for complex technical issues; work closely with clients and on-site teams to resolve problems and implement solutions
  • Consult with our clients with their technical business needs, providing a trusted advisory service
  • Lead new business processes, including research, surveying future product opportunities and proposal preparations

Contract Mobilisation

  • Working closely with mobilisation team, product development, and other departments to support technical aspects of customer onboarding, process implementation and mobilisation
  • Onboarding standards and processes
  • Support future solutioning

Innovation / Continuous improvement

  • Unlock innovation and sharing within the sector
  • Work with our Service Excellent team to build a cost model for technical services

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Manage the engineering team to ensure a safe and profitable delivery
  • Complete site safety visits with OCS contract managers to ensure that the contracts remain complaint 
  • Attend a monthly meeting to provide an reports to the Director Technical services and Operations director
  • Manage the welfare and performance of the engineering team
  • Work on areas covering when other staff are not available
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of the technical services division with in OCS
  • Assist the Director of technical service in improving the process and service delivery on

You should meet the following criteria:

  • Higher National Certificate as a minimum in a building services discipline
  • Member of professional engineering institution Desirable
  • IOSH Managing Safely or NEBOSH Qualified
  • Served as AP previously
  • Knowledge of CAFM, Power BI, BMS Systems
  • Expert in the use of Microsoft applications
