About The Role:

Exciting opportunity for an experienced Mechanical Building Services Project Manager to join our team in Edinburgh working on a variety of projects throughout the Lothians. Position offers a variety of work from small to medium refurbishments and plant replacements to large scale multi million pound contracts. As part of your role, your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Leading and motivating the team in accordance with OCS personnel policies and procedures.
  • Working closely with the Operations Manager, Quantity Surveyor, Pre-Construction Team and Procurement Team to plan and deliver our projects on time and on budget to meet with our clients' requirements.
  • Ensuring that all employees have the appropriate training and qualifications to fulfil their role.
  • Maintaining a high level of employee morale and adherence to all personnel policies and procedures
  • Working closely with counterparts on other disciplines to ensure project is conducted on a one-team basis. 
  • Driving a high standard of safety, health, sustainability and quality within your sphere of control, ensuring that H&S is planned into all aspects of the works and communicated to all on site.   

 

What are we looking for?

  • Applicants must have the right to work in the UK
  • Full driving licence
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics & Microsoft Project
  • Effective managerial skills, including the ability to lead and motivate a team.
  • Client focused, professional with the requisite skills to establish and maintain relationships.
  • A self-motivated person who has the ability to work on their own initiative and achieve stretching targets.
  • Ability to work calmly and efficiently in a pressurised environment.
  • Strong commercial awareness
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills 
  • Deadline driven
