About The Role:

Role Overview

We are currently recruiting for a Tool Clerk to join our passionate and driven team based at our Glasgow Hillington office

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the entire lifecycle of OCS owned tools, ensuring precise tracking though our inhouse CAFM system, Concept
  • Ownership of asset database within Concept, ensuring that all records are processed into the system in a timely matter
  • Manage asset tags and their distribution and use throughout field teams
  • Perform regular audits through OCS employed engineering teams (supervisors)
  • Oversee and manage the periodical calibration of all owned assets, recording results, remedial works and final certification within Concept
  • Oversee and manage the periodical PAT testing of all owned assets, recording results, remedial works and final certification within Concept
  • Create Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) for engineering teams to carry out periodical testing
  • Monitor asset performance and recommend corrective measures
  • Utilise data and analysis to monitor stock levels (returned stock)
  • Create management reporting suite alongside our BI team which will provide an overview to stakeholders on assets data (cost, RAG score, age of equipment, account overviews, stock levels etc)
  • Work with mobilisation team to mange tool requests for any new accounts
  • Liaise with procurement and operational teams to ensure the tools required for each discipline are up to date and priced correctly
  • Liaise with technical team to ensure tools have relevant safety ratings and are adequate for the works that are to be carried out
  • Maintaining tool hubs and ensuring cleanliness and inventories are in place
  • Providing support to other departments as required, including assisting with tool/equipment selection and procurement

About You:

  • Applicants must have the right to work in the UK
  • Familiarity with tools and equipment commonly used in maintenance, engineering and facilities management.
  • Knowledge of safety procedures and regulations related to tool handling and storage
  • Solid communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and manage conflict
  • Comfortable communicating with senior leadership colleagues
  • Be an excellent organiser and able to schedule/manage your own workload
  • Be self-motivated and results orientated
  • Strong IT skills including Power BI, MS Excel
  • Have a keen eye for detail
