About The Role:

Shift pattern: Monday to Friday from 08:30 to 17:00
Role overview: 

Reporting to the Head of Fleet, The Fleet Data Analyst will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to provide the best in class service delivery to the wider OCS business.

This is a hands-on role contributing to the Fleet team and wider departments/business units working alongside it. They will work in conjunction with the fleet administration team to work trends identified through reporting and to further report on all areas of fleet to the Head of Fleet and Business Unit Directors.

Key responsibilities:

Functional Tasks

  • Data Analysis, collect and interpret data related to fleet operations to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Fuel and Maintenance, monitor and report fuel consumption and maintenance costs.
  • Vehicle Acquisition and Disposal, own the vehicle order tracker in relation to the acquisition and disposal of vehicles to ensure company targets are achieved.
  • Budgeting, assist in budget preparation and expense management related to the fleet.
  • Trend Monitoring, stay informed about the latest trends in fleet management and vehicle technology
  • Operational day to day delivery of a centralised reporting service for the operational teams.
  • An element of project management in relation to systems and suppliers.
  • Provide reporting to key stakeholders on progress of projects and tasks.
  • Monitor and report on team performance against agreed KPI’s.
  • Work with driver check system and Fleet admin team to ensure monitoring of driver license checking system is compliant and all new starters are captured prior to driving and leavers are removed from the system inline with legal requirements.
  • Management of telematics and tracking system.
  • Working with the Fleet admin team, track and report on trends in vehicle accidents and incidents.
  • Streamlining of onboarding and offboarding new members of staff onto company systems.

Qualifications: 
  • Excellent administration skills.
  • Experience ideally within a similar role.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Previous experience of working within a large organisation.
  • Experience of working within a team as well as use own initiative.
  • Excellent analytical skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and plan personal workload effectively.
  • High level of integrity and dependability.
  • Good knowledge of Full Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, Power BI would be an advantage.
  • Team player with a can do attitude.
