About The Role:

The overall purpose of the role is:

To take complete ownership of the security strategy and operating procedures for OCS across the Chelsea FC contract, comprising of three locations; Stamford Bridge, Cobham Training Ground and Kingsmeadow Stadium with circa 100 staff.

To take complete ownership of the security strategy and operating procedures for OCS across the Brentford FC contract, comprising of two locations; G-Tech Stadium & Brentford FC Training Ground with circa 20 staff.

The role holder will drive people management, compliance, best practice implementation, staff welfare, continuous improvement and ultimately customer satisfaction.

You will act as the subject matter expert on all aspects of security (including major event security), leading and developing practices on both new and existing processes, procedures and technologies, to ensure the safe and effective delivery of OCS’ contractual obligations to our client.

You will be the face of the contract, developing a strong relationship with the client and OCS managers alike, taking on a consultative approach to making safety recommendations and ensuring that your team continue to deliver a first-class visitor experience.

Additional responsibilities will include:
 
  • To manage and lead the security team ensuring that all processes are constantly reviewed and updated to ensure that the security and customer service delivery are aligned with the events in tenancy and there is a continuous improvement plan.
  • To manage and lead the Security team ensuring all processes are compliant and constantly kept up to date.
  • To produce and implement an annual readiness, testing and exercising regime in accordance with the security strategy to ensure all security measures are met to the required standard.
  • To ensure the security team performing to the required operational standards and emergency procedures.
  • Responsible for the delivery of all operational practices and effective security measures are deployed wherever the services are required.
  • Ensure innovation is being deployed within the security service and ensure you are up to date with industry developments.
  • Responsible in the delivery of physical security services in order to support site resilience and provision of a safe and secure workplace.
  • Direct line management responsibility to Site Security Manager – 2 stadiums, 2 training grounds
  • To provide operational leadership to the operational and administrational team.
  • To ensure there is a strong customer relationship with effective communication with all key client stakeholders.
 
Skills and experience required:
 
  • Experience Senior Security Manager with demonstrable history in a high-volume events or sports venue is essential
  • Experience with managing multisite locations.
  • Proven track record in delivering change management.
  • Proven track record in delivering exceptional customer satisfaction and client relationship.
  • Holds IOSH or NEBOSHH Certification
  • L4 Spectator Safety Desirable
  • SIA Door Supervisor and CCTV licenced.
  • Proven track record of managing large team of staff, including motivating, and engaging the workforce whilst continually developing the skill sets.
